VA Vocational Rehabilitation Benefit

VA Chapter 31 VR&E helps veterans with service-connected disabilities prepare for, find, and maintain suitable employment. Unlike the GI Bill, VR&E covers full tuition, fees, books, supplies — AND pays a monthly subsistence allowance on top. It's often called the "super GI Bill."

Apply online at va.gov or with VA Form 28-1900. An evaluation appointment with a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) is required before enrollment.
