Start with federal VOSB/SDVOSB certification via SBA's VetCert portal, then pursue NaVOBA for corporate supplier programs. Most businesses benefit most from the SBA certification since it's free and unlocks billions in annual federal set-aside spending. State certifications are a secondary priority and vary widely in value.
