All veterans are entitled to at least one year of free VA mental health care after separation, regardless of SC status or enrollment. MST survivors receive free VA mental health care for MST-related conditions with no copay and no service-connection required. The VA Community Care Network (CCN) allows veterans to see non-VA providers when VA wait times exceed 20 days or drive time exceeds 30 minutes.
