Military Leave Days Tracker

Active duty military earns 2.5 days of leave per month (30 days per year). You can carry over up to 60 days (75 days during active contingency). This tracker calculates your current balance, projected accrual, and the cash value of terminal leave at separation.

Terminal Leave Value

Leave that exceeds the carryover limit is "use or lose" — it disappears on October 1. You can sell back up to 60 days of unused leave at separation (one-time in a career, unless you have a new contract). Terminal leave lets you use your remaining balance before your ETS date — you continue receiving full pay and allowances during terminal leave.
