Global Entry Application Timeline

Apply Online at CBP TTP Portal
Complete the application and pay $120 at ttp.cbp.dhs.gov. Conditional approval typically arrives in 2–4 weeks.

Schedule In-Person Interview
Schedule at a Global Entry enrollment center (airports, CBP offices). Wait time varies from days to months by location. Or do an Enrollment on Arrival (EOA) interview when you next fly home.

Attend Interview (15 minutes)
Bring passport, valid ID, and green card (if LPR). Officer reviews your application and takes biometrics. Bring documentation of any travel or criminal history questions.

Receive KTN and Use It
You receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN). Add it to all airline profiles and TSA PreCheck immediately starts appearing on boarding passes.
