The Savings Deposit Program (SDP) pays 10% annual interest (guaranteed by the U.S. government) on deposits up to $10,000. You can deposit up to $10,000 total during a single deployment. The Combat Zone Tax Exclusion (CZTE) exempts all military pay from federal income tax for every month you serve in a designated combat zone.
